Batching and automating your content is probably one of the best things you can do for yourself as a content creator. Batching allows you to plan and schedule posts ahead of time and without you even having to be there. Here are my top three apps used to keep my content organized and ready to go.


Trello is the perfect project management tool; you can use it for your business, or personal projects as well as invite team members if you’re collaborating on one. Trello gives you a visual overview of what is going, it tells you who ’s working on what part of a project, and exactly how far they’ve gotten. I personally use this software to organize/ plan my blog post and videos as well as photography projects.


Email marketing is the engagement held with your audience through the use of email. Email marketing is a major key to building a digital platform and reaching your target audience. MailChimp is an amazing tool to collect emails, build a mailing list and even collect data for future content without all the hassle. I can literally go on and on but I’m just going to list a few of my favorite features:

  • MailChimp allows you to create your emails in advance and schedule them to be sent on the dates you choose.
  • MailChimp is customizable; you can create really cool templates and landing pages for your brand without even spending a penny.
  • Your first 1,000 subscriptions are free and then you have to upgrade to a professional account.
  • MailChimp is beginner friendly; if you’re not sure where to start, there are plenty of tutorials on youtube to help you out I personally enjoy getting their newsletters and blogs post to keep me updated on the tools and resources they offer..

Automating your content may seem like a hassle at first but it’s worth it. Once you batch a few projects and get the hang of it, you’ll see just how beneficial it actually is.  


This app is pretty simple and so time freeing if you ask me because it allows you to plan schedule and post your photos on Instagram posts in advanced. Preview lets you save your captions and favorite hashtags for future posts so you don’t have to keep writing the same thing over every time you go to upload a post.
